The effect of the unbalance load is appear as a neutral current so that cause losses due to neutral currents and losses on the distribution transformer. This research discusses losses due to unbalanced loads on the 100 kVA distribution transformer using day and night load measurement data. Losses due to unbalanced load transformers or due to neutral currents are calculated based on several indicators such as the percentage of imbalances against average loads and the percentage of losses against loads. Based on the research, it was found that losses due to neutral currents were 798.44 Watt during the daytime and 587.16 Watt at night. Losses incurred on transformer windings are 224.52 Watt during the day and 240.70 Watt at night. And the total transformer losses due to unbalanced load are 1022.97 Watt during the day and 827.85 Watt at night. While the percentage of load imbalance is 33.33% during the day and 40.13% at night. The increase in losses due to unbalanced expenses was 4.9% during the day and 3.89% at night. And the resulting of energy losses are 5163 Watt per year. It was concluded that the unbalanced load adds significant losses to the distribution transformer.} }
