PT. PLN (Persero) as a power system management company always tries to provide the best service to its customers. To be able to maintain quality, the reliability of the distribution system must always be maintained properly. In order for the distribution system to remain reliable, the percentage of loading on the distribution transformer must not exceed the stipulated value of 80% of the load. So with the voltage drop on the customer side no more than 10%. Based on the results of calculations using measurement data and ETAP simulation results, known an increase in loading on the GDU 4 transformer periodically, where the value of the transformer is 79.2%. Likewise, a voltage drop occurs at the end of the customer which is relatively large, the phase R= 190V, S= 204V, T= 191V. To be able to improve conditions like this, PT. PLN (Persero) is trying to add an insertion transformer with a capacity of 400 kVA. With regard to the installation of the insertion transformer, the author makes a mapping of the transformer layout at the location and obtained the results of improvements with a loading value of 44%, then the voltage drop at the end of the customer side, the phase R= 220V, S= 225V, T= 223,5V.
