The high and increasing demand for electrical energy is caused by several factors, including the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP). The increasing of energy needs need to be accompanied by the availability of electricity supply and adequate electricity distribution. This research is a long-term forecast for electricity load growth to anticipate the load growth for the next 10 years at GIS Pondok Kelapa, using the linear regression method. The calculation is using the GRDP variables and historical data of transformer load at GIS Pondok Kelapa. From the calculations, it is known that in 2020 a new GIS was needed due to the GIS Pondok Kelapa already working on 80% of its capacity, it is 92,27% for transformer 2, 86,92% for transformer 3 and 80,21% for transformer 1.} }
