		abstract={The MRT requires an electric drive sistem that can drive low, medium and high speed. At each speed demanded if there is a change in load torque on the motor porors while operating, the motor rotational speed must be relatively fixed (there is a small but a maximum of 13% change), so an electric drive sistem that has hard and many characteristics is needed. Then consider two popular driving sistems, namely AC drive sistem with frequency regulation and DC drive sistem with voltage regulation. Based on the considerations in sub-section 2.2, the frequency control AC motor drive sistem is chosen because it is more profitabel in terms of maintenance and economy. To move the MRT safely and reliably, it is necessary to design electrical installations that are safe for humans and installation equipment from electrical hazards in accordance with K3 and PUIL requirements.}
