		abstract={PT Citra Abadi Sejati is a class I3 consumer at PT PLN (PERSERO) ULP Prima Pakuan Bogor which requires a large power consumption to drive the motors that are operated and causes more KVARh consumption so that the value of
the power factor during operation is far different from the standards set by PLN . For industries the condition of low power factor is unavoidable due to varying inductive motor loads. Power factor is the ratio between active power and
apparent power. Bank capacitors are a collection of several capacitors that are connected in parallel to improve the quality of electric power, one of which is power factor. By raising the power factor to 0.85, a bank capacitor of 37.4 kVAR is needed so that the quality of the power produced is optimal and avoids the cost of an excess of KVAR fines.}
