		abstract={chili plants can get various diseases. This problem will mark the decline in the quality and yield as well as the yield of chilli plants. lack of additional information to overcome the problem of pests and diseases is one of the reasons farmers or cultivators of chili plants specifically for beginner farmers in chili cultivation. this expert system will be implemented into an Android-based application using the Forward Chaining inference method to determine results and solutions that are reliable or accountable. This research was designed to create an expert system capable of diagnosing diseases in chili plants based on the knowledge provided directly from experts / experts. In this study consisted of 26 symptom data, 7 chili disease data and 20 rule data. This Expert System can be made after going through the stages, namely problem analysis, Needs Analysis, User Analysis, Running System Analysis, Data Need Analysis, and Analysis of Data collection, then system design with flowcharts, database design, and interface design. This application is made with codular tools, with MySQL databases and PHP Myadmin. The test results show functional testing using the Black Box Testing method to get the results as expected in the test scenario in each test class.}
