The DC source comes from a 20 kV Relay connected to a step down transformer, then rectified from AC to DC by a rectifier as a charger for a series of battery cells arranged in a battery bank.The battery bank server to store DC voltage reserves as a backup of the rectifiers for the load of control protection relays, PMT and PMS drive motor, emergency lighting, digital meters, alarm signals, tripping and closingcoil. By performing measurements and battery discharge tests, it can maintain the readiness of operating the battery supply to the equipment even under any circumstances. From the initial measurement results, anomaly DC ground 45,3 and -83 Volt, and the voltage of two battery cells respectively 0,1 and 0,2 Volt. After maintenance, both points have been balanced by 63,9 and -66,8 Volts and the voltage of both batteries is 1,3 and 1 Volt. When performing battery performance test, the total voltage drop is not effective, After handling, the total voltage drop becomes effective. This maintenance can overcame and anticipate the frequent disruption of the battery supply system, prevent the failure of the system protection and control,} }
