High or low temperature of the transformer when loaded is determined by the amount of load generated, the ability of the transformer to release the heat generated and the circumstances around the transformer. In this study the life of the transformer was carried out using the isolation degradation method by measuring top-oil temperature, hotspot temperature, and the load generated by the transformer. The research was conducted by taking a case study of a 150KV / 20KV transformer on the Cikupa substation. From the result of research on the 60 MVA capacity power transformer does not operate beyond the loading capacity for a year, so the temperature value of the hot-spot transformer meets the standard IEC 60354 (1991) wich is less than 98 . The average value of remaining life assessment of the transformer is 20,49 years at the peak day load calculation and 20,42 years at the night peak load.} }
