Underground cables in distribution systems present their own challenges to improve distribution system reliability. PT.HALEYORA POWER Menteng Area utilizes cable assessment to maintain reliable power distribution, especially on medium voltage distribution networks, because it is necessary to detect the condition of the cable operating within a certain period of time. Cable assessment uses the Oscillating Wave Test System (OWTS) method which in its test can see the mapping of Partial Discharge positions. This final project produces that the condition of phase R cable (L1) and S phase (L2) is in bad condition with estimated maintenance of 6 months, where the location of partial discharge is at a distance of 450 meters to 500 meters While the phase T (L3) condition is alert with an estimated maintenance of 1 year, where the location is partial discharge. After knowing the condition of the cable HALEYORA POWER must follow up with maintenance in the form of a cut if the cable condition is alert.
