As an insulating material, transformer oil must have the ability to withstand high voltage (voltage stress) so that no breakdown occurs. Meanwhile, as a cooler, transformer oil must be able to reduce heat due to interference and when the conditions are burdened. The low breakdown voltage causes the dielectric strength to decrease, while the factor that causes the low breakdown voltage is the water content in the transformer oil. To maintain the reliability of transformer oil, it is necessary to control the condition of the oil by carrying out insulation resistance testing on transformer oil in the form of a breakdown voltage test and water content to comply with SPLN 49-1: 1982 standards, namely 30 kV / 2.5mm and ?30 mg / kg. In this final project using quantitative methods. From the results of WRG substation measurements are in poor condition, because the value of the breakdown voltage and water content in the transformer oil does not meet the standards of 15.5 kV/mm & 52.96 mg/kg.} }
