Demage to ther transformer cause continuity of service to consumers will be disrupted (electrical outages). In 1972, International electrotechnical commission (IEC) 354 claim if a transformer get a stable load on it?s identification power with ambient temperature 20°C,transformer hot spot temperature will reach 98°C. The higher the loading will result in an increase in temperature on the transformer, heat will cause the coil insulation to become demaged and accelerate the aging process. Therefore, this temperature rise should be limited and loading shall be taken into account to maintain the temperature of transformer in order to remain stable and not to make insulation deteriorates increases exponentially with temperature. Dailly average ambient temperature in Jakarta is 31,61°C with the loading of the transformer at PT RCTI is greater that transformer at Media TV Indonesia. The result show that the higher loading rate makes hot spot temperature will increase so that the rate of thermal aging is also increasing and the age of the transformator decreases.} }
