The underground cabling on the distribution system provides its own challenge to improve the reliability of the distribution system. PT. PLN (Persero) Menteng Area utilizes cable asessment to maintain reliable power supply especially in intermediate voltage distribution network, because it is necessary to detect cable condition that operate within a certain period of time. Cable Assessment using Oscillating Wave Test System (OWTS) method which in the test can see Partial Discharge position mapping, this test using standard parameter of PUSLITBANG. This final project resulted that the condition of phase cable R (L1) and S (L2) phase of alert condition is quite good with 2 year maintenance estimate, where the partial location discharge at 460 meters to 480 meters. While the phase T (L3) cable condition alert with 1 year maintenance estimate, where the partial location discharge at a distance of 280 meters to 300 meters. After knowing the condition of the cable PLN must follow up with maintenance in the form of connecting pieces if the cable condition alert. In addition, by creating a new path if the cable condition is bad.} }
