The highway should be design as smooth as possible so that vehicle which passing the highway could go in high speed. This research is comparing flexible design using Bina Marga 2017 Method and AASHTO 1993 Method on sta. 26+300 ? 26+700. The result using Bina Marga 2017 Method was flexible pavement consist of 4 layer, Subbase Layers ? A Class was 300 mm thick, AC-Base was 245 mm thick, AC-BC was 60 mm thick and AC-WC was 80 mm. Flexible pavement total thickness according to Bina Marga 2017 Method is 645 mm. Meanwhile, the result of flexible pavement design using AASHTO 1993 was consist of 3 layers, that Subbase Layers ? Class A was 300 mm thick; AC-BC was 60 mm thick, and AC-WC was 80 mm thick. Total thickness of flexible pavement using AASHTO 1993 method is 760 mm. Preconstruction cost using Bina Marga 2017 Method was Rp.8.298.407.941, -; while using AASHTO 1993 Method was Rp.2.591.158.256, -. The conclusion is preconstruction cost for AASHTO 1993 was lower than Bina Marga 2017 Method.} }
