In large generators, one of the frequently used conversion tools is the 3-phase synchronous generator. The synchronized synced generators are 300 MW synchronous generators, 20 kV, Y relationships on PLTU Banten 2 Labuan. Generator operation required a stability in order to optimal generator performance. The stability of generators can be influenced by a number of things such as load changes, temperature and so on. Changing the load caused to the needs of the customer, to increase the load is given more currents on the excitation then the temperature will increase and affect the stability of the generator. To keep the temperature fixed the coolant pressure is kept at 0.3 Mpa (3,0kg/cm2). In temperature generator is kept normal 50-70 °C, if it is up to 90 °C temperature exceeds the high limit (overheating) will alarm. The generator will trip at a temperature of 120 °C. From the date of 19 and 20 February 2019 were found the average stator temperature was 49.80 °C and 47.04 °C while the rotor temperature was 61.89 °C and 59.52 °C. The performance of generators on PLTU Banten 2 Labuan can be seen from the data, the generator is still in normal operation or located in green area in the capability curve.} }
