		abstract={Solar energy is a renewable energy source that is abundantly available in Indonesia. One way to utilize solar energy is to convert it into electrical energy using a module (Photovoltaic) or solar modules called solar power plants (PLTS). the use of solar energy as a power plant is growing rapidly, but there are no standards related to the construction of solar power plants in Indonesia. PLTS development can be applied to Rooftop. In designing PLTS for SDN 15 Palu City building, accurate calculations are needed to determine the ideal photovoltaic system, which is to find the number of solar modules to be installed, find the power generated per day and year, the performance ratio and power losses of the PLTS system itself, also calculates the value of the initial investment needed next capital return on initial investment returns. From the results of this thesis get a 87% performance ratio and payback of 8 years.}
