Therefore, the renewable energy sources are more needed nowadays. One of these renewable energy sources is wind power. In this script, the writer will be discussing about the design of the vertical shaft wind turbine types that is savonius wind turbine. Savonius wind turbine has 3 kind of blade placement. Therefore, the writer will design a savonius wind turbine which its blade can be replaced. The writer will predict the power that will be generated from each of those blade positions in the same wind condition based from the theory. The writer is not going to design the generator and chose to pick one that is suitable from the market instead. Shaft and bearing will be design as well in this script so this turbine performance could be more efficient. The turbine performance of each blade position can be compared theoretically. This turbine designed to be able to produce electricity power up to 5,893 Watt electricity for the separated blade position, 5,4819 Watt for connected blade position, and 5,071 Watt for crossed blade position, all three of those can be obtained in 6,728 m/s of wind speed.} }
