Factors that could cause failures include the environment and temperature, welding position is wrong, the electrodes are not in accordance with the base metal material, operational factors and others. To overcome this, the authors tested the water wall tube material with metallographic examination, SEM, EDS, chemical composition analysis (spark oes), and hardness (vickers method) which is expected from the results of such testing may reveal the process of failure.} }
