abstract={This research was conducted at PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Cengkareng on Feeder Of Kursi. This feeder is protected by a Circuit Breaker (PMT) with Over Current Rele (OCR) and Ground Fault Rele (GFR). Automatic recloser (PBO) is also installed in this feeder. PBO has the ability to automatically reclose as protection against temporary fault. Disturbances on overhead distribution networks are temporary and permanent, but mostly are temporary. Because of the various protections, it is necessary to do protection coordination so that the protection system works selectively. In this study the OCR, GFR and PBO settings were calculated so that good protection coordination can be obtained. A coordination time margin of 0.3 seconds is used. The setting results obtained for Kursi feeders are for incoming PMT OCR TMS = 0.255, outgoing PMT OCR TMS = 0.394, and OCR PBO TMS = 0.200. Whereas on incoming PMT GFR TMS = 0.326, outgoing PMT GFR TMS = 0.217, and GFR PBO TMS = 0.100. In these settings, rele work time margin can always be maintained at ? 0.3 seconds. From comparison between results of calculations and existing settings there are differences in the determination of rele current settings and time margin used for coordination.}
