A condenser is a device for turning steam into water. The work process of a condenser is a condensation system or condensation, which changes phase III (steam) is changed or condensed into phase II (water). Condensation is carried out by flowing steam into a heat exchanger system (Heat Exchanger) which is channeled into pipes (tubes) and the outside flowing cooling water. Steam flows outside the pipes while water as a cooler flowing inside the pipes. Due to frequent operation of the condenser, many problems and obstacles are found in the condenser. There are several factors that can affect the condenser, which are referred to as pipe coolers or air coolers, steam condensate water level, initial temperature, initial pressure, and air conditioner flow rate, steam pressure and initial temperature. To find out the heat transfer in the condenser by using the Log Mean Temperature Different (LMTD) method. Many problems and difficulties are found in the condenser. One of them is tubing leakage which causes sea water to mix with freshwater result from condensation which will damage the water quality that will be reused in the PLTU cycle. In a leak usually done to plugging deal with leakage, in addition to economic plugging is also a simple and efficient method in terms of installation.} }
