Muara Tawar PLTGU began operating in 1995 PLTGU is generating unit that has aa fast response to the phenomenon of load changes. Over time, the performance of PLTGU components, especially in gas turbines will decrease in performance. Where the decline in performance can anffect the level of efficiency of a gas turbine. Therefore, in maintaining its performance, PT PJB UP Muara Tawar carries out a maintenance effort by inspecting the combustion chamber or know as ?combustion inspection? on gas turbine. In this final project, a research was conducted to know the effect of combustion inspection on the efficiency of the gas turbine unit 1 block 1 of Muara Tawar PLTGU. The effect of the combustion inspection activity can be seen form the efficiency of the combustion chamber, turbine efficiency, fuel rate, and thermal efficiency. In conducting this research, the authors calculate and analyze the efficiency of gas turbines in conditions before and after the combustion inspection. From the result of this research, it was found that an increase in gas turbine by 1.6%, an increase in the thermal efficiency of 2.96%, as well as a decrease or savings in fuel consumption by 0.15 kg/s.} }
