Indications of the occurrence of corona events on the transmission line between the Cawang substation and the Bekasi substation include high humidity, the emergence of a hissing sound and the tower has a vertical configuration. Vertical towers transmit more power than horizontally, thus making the possibility of power losses and corona events even greater. To find out the value of corona losses, data collection and calculations are carried out using the Sato Formula. The result of the percentage loss of corona to the electrical power supplied is 0.067% and the percentage of power loss in the conductor to the electrical power supplied is 0.41%.
