In medium voltage distribution networks more than 70% are temporary troubles (source SPLN 52-3 1983), to maintain the reliability of electrical distribution and minimize trouble and the spread of disturbances, it is necessary to coordinate and adjust the protection relays setting properly and appropriately so that the distribution of electric power remains reliable to the customer. Therefore recloser protection is applied and coordinated with OCR and GFR relays on incoming and outgoing feeders and it is also required to precisely regulate for selective protection coordination, in order to improve the performance of the protection system. This study uses a quantitative method. The results of the settings are obtained in the UP3 jamparing feeder Bogor short circuit current 3 phase OCR incoming is reached at tms = 0.219, OCR outgoing tms = 0.200, recloser tms = 0.156.
