Because IBT is an important electric power component, IBT needs a well-coordinated protection system. A well-coordinated protection system is a protection system that does not overlap the line of work for each of its relays. One of the types of interference on IBT is a short circuit current and more load interference. This disorder can cause the reliability of IBT to decrease even if the disruption occurs at a large scale. To overcome this it is necessary to install the protection Relays on IBT. Relays protection used in the form of Differential Relay, Over Current Relay, Ground Fault Relay and Over Load Shedding Relay.At IBT Deltamas, for setting Over Current Relay of TMS value is used 0.06 on the side 500 kV then 0.09 on the side 150 kV IBT Deltamas. For setting Ground Fault Relay of TMS value used is 0.36 on the side 500 kV then 0.2 on the side 150 kV IBT Deltamas.
