Transformer is electrical machines that change voltage levels with the principle of electromagnetic induction. Equipment such as transformer has a set age limit of 20.55 years. Age transformer itself is affected by the load and ambient temperature. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of load and ambient temperature on transformer. Based on the analysis obtained the age from transformers, with the method used is quantitative method and descriptive statistical analysis technique. This study took data on transformers at PLTA Jelok. Increased load can make life time of transformer reduced lifespan. Based on load 100%, 90% and 80% of the estimated life time of transformers are 7,119 years, 17,847 years, and 19.5489 years. Then with load transformer at PLTA Jelok in 2019 obtained life time of transformer units 1,2,3 and 4 are 5.16 years, 19,518 years, 20.4609 years, and 19,927 years. The maximum load for the transformers PLTA Jelok is 5.6896 MVA.} }
