abstract={Environmental pollution due to waste will be increasingly worrying. But at the same time there is less and less available fossil energy, so humans must change trends in the production and use of fuels, from fossil fuels to non-fossil fuels or new renewable energy. So that a concrete solution is needed, namely the construction of a waste power plant to replace fossil fuels. Waste which is considered to be the source of the problem turns out to be able to be processed into garbage pellets and has a high heating value of 3,802 Kcal / Kg (Tekmira laboratory test results). The heating value is equivalent to the heating value of young coal, so that waste can be used as fuel to replace fossil energy. In the Feasibility Study of Waste Utilization in Lhokseumawe City, Ujong Blang Village, as a Waste Power Plant, 4 Trillion Gasifier (TG180) and 2 C399 caterpillar generator units with 600 kW output. PLTSa with waste pellet fuel is considered more efficient and feasible to be built because with an investment of Rp. 7,388,745,900, - with the selling price of electricity Rp. 1,500 per kWh and bank interest of 12% per year resulting in NPV of 11,472,014,458, IRR of 19,943%, BCR of 2,553 and PBP for 2 years and 5 months. So the use of waste pellets as Downdraft gasification fuel PLTSa is very feasible to be built in the village of Ujong Blang.}
