The increasing load demand condition makes growth in the plants more and more influential to the system in its distribution. Therefore, it is necessary to do a study in planning to be able to transmit energy from the generation center to the load while still paying attention to the value of economy, reliability and quality. In this thesis, discussing the treatment when the contingency occurred in the N-2 Balaraja- Lengkong which caused the the system does not reach its stability limits on the system. The power flow calculation uses the Newton Raphson method by using the digsilent program at peak load conditions in the year 2020. For overcoming the problems in the N-2 Balaraja-Lengkong, it will be highly recommended to install the new SUTET that will connect from Balaraja to Kembangan because if there occurs N-2 Balaraja-Lengkong power evacuation can be replaced by the existence of Balaraja-Kembangan and it will reach the limits of stability system. However, if SUTET Balaraja-Kembangan is not able to be applied, the defense scheme will implement OGS (Over Generation Shedding) that will only limit the transfer of complex Suralaya only 3357 MW which initially amounted to 6400 MW. By implementing this , the system stability will stay save.} }
