This electrification ratio is supplied from PLN of 95.45 %, non-PLN 2.48 % and Energy Saving Solar Lights (LTSHE) 0.37 %. At present, the energy mix has only reached 13 % of the target of 23 % in 2025. Indonesia is tropical country, with summer season and crossed by the equator which has a higher average value of PSH ( Peak Sun Hours) at 4.5 - 5.5 kWh / m2m/ day. So for the use of solar panels as a subtitute for electricity in the country of, Indonesia is the one of the best choice. For household needs in urban areas is still limited to use only on day ( On-grid) while at the time of peak load (WBP) PLN still generates oil and gas fired power plants which production costs are relatively expensive. The North Sulawesi- Gorontalo electricity system at the time of the peak load was supported by 2 oil-fired generators namely LMVPP and PLTD Telaga with a weighted average BPP of Rp. 3.333,6 / kWh and electricity production of 333.530 kWh/ day ( 5 hours of operation ) BPP from PLTS IS Rp. 3.050,- / kWh from the results of study, it is obtained Saving s from the BPP difference of 283,6 Rp/ kWh / day times 365 days will generate Saving Rp. 21 Milyar pe year for PLN} }
