abstract={The decline in the quality of electrical energy causes losses for power supply companies and consumers, therefore it is necessary to adjust the transmission network to improve the quality of electrical energy by compensating for power on
the transmission network using FACTS (Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems) equipment. One type of FACTS equipment is SVC (Static Var Compensator), SVC can assist reactive power on the transmission network by injecting or absorbing reactive power. Here the authors conducted research to see the effect of SVC installation on the voltage and power flow on the Balaraja IBT 1 & 2 Subsystem through power flow simulation on the ETAP 12.6 software. From the simulation results with an increase in SVC on the CITRA HABITAT bus
with a Qsvc capacity of 25 MVAR, the results of the increase in the average voltage value at each substation of the Balaraja IBT 1 & 2 Subsystem are 0.902 kV. Increasing the active power at each substation of the Balaraja IBT 1 & 2 subsystem with a total increase of 4.132 MW.}
