This village consists 725 houses and still using PLTD (diesel power plant). The cost of PLTD fuel per year in Margo Rukun village is expensive, and the price of fuel is more expensive than the price of national fuel which increases BPP (Basic Cost Of Supply), inefficient, and less eco-friendly. Therefore a solution is needed to reduce the fuel usage and also reduce BPP in Margo Rukun village. With development especially the potential of renewable energy that can be utilized as alternative energy source, one of them is solar power plant (PLTS). The research is carried out using HOMER software for simulation and see comparison of BPP between PLTS hybrid PLTD and pure PLTD. Based on data analysis using HOMER, the comparison of BPP between PLTS hybrid PLTD and pure PLTD is obtained, with NPC (Net Present Cost) value of PLTS hybrid PLTD is IDR 26.717.140.000 with energy cost IDR 4.437/kWh lower than the value of NPC (Net Present Cost) of pure PLTD which is IDR 35.686.420.000 with energy cost IDR 5.927/kWh. The addition of PLTS hybrid PLTD system is economically beneficial, reducing the diesel fuel consumption from diesel generators by 163.127 L/year to 103.846 L/year.} }
