Wind kinetic energy is usually used to drive wind turbines to generate electrical energy. Utilization of wind energy for people's electricity needs into electrical energy is still constrained by insufficient knowledge of the extent to which wind turbine technology has developed. To find out the amount of potential electrical energy that can be generated, it is necessary to measure the wind speed directly in the coastal area. The test site was carried out on the beach of Tanjung Pasir, Tangerang Regency, Banten province with the aim of knowing the electrical power generated from the area's wind speed. This research was conducted by testing the savonius type vertical wind turbine which is designed with a diameter of 30 cm and a blade height of 1 m. Tests were carried out with 2 variations of treatment 2 savonius turbine blades and 3 savonius turbine blades designed with "S" blade type without overlap. In the turbine measurement process, it will be studied with 5 variations of wind speed in the Tanjung Pasir Beach area.
