		abstract={Boiler efficiency is the performance capability of the boiler which is indicated by the ratio of heat input into the system with the heat transferred or absorbed by the working fluid as well as heat losses that occur in the boiler. In this thesis, the calculation and analysis of boiler efficiency at PLTU Suralaya unit 8 is carried out, analysis of the results of the performance test calculations, which will be explained using direct and indirect methods. The calculation standard used is the USA Standard ASME PTC-4-1 Power Test Code Steam Generator Units in 2013. The calculation value of boiler efficiency using the direct method is 79.51% in June 2018 and 79.68% in July 2018 The increase in the number is 0.17%. While the calculation value of the indirect method boiler efficiency is 84.45% in June 2018 and 84.68% in July 2018.}
