title ={ANALISIS ENERGI DAN EKSERGI TERHADAP KOMPONEN UTAMA PLTU UNIT 3 SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH OVERHAUL DI PT . INDONESIA POWER BANTEN 3 LONTAR OMU},

abstract={In the main component of power plant, research is usually only on energy efficiency. However, in the power plant system it is not enough just energy efficiency or only based on the rules of the first law of thermodynamics, but new research is needed by combining it with exergy based on the rules of the second law of thermodynamics. Therefore, the aim of this research is to analyze energy and exergy to the main components of power plant Unit 3 before and after the overhaul at PT. Indonesia Power Banten 3 Lontar OMU, which can be known where the location, type, and heat loss or loss that occurred in Banten 3 Lontar power plant, so that potential losses that can be known can be easily repaired later. These methods include calculation methods based on mass balance and energy efficiency as well as exergy influenced by entropy. It has been known from the research that, the effect of overhaul is very effective in making components to maintain their performance but not as good as when commissioning. So that the results of energy efficiency and exergy of each component before and after the overhaul: Condenser 65% and 80%, BFP 70% and 71%, Boiler 83% and 85%, Steam Turbine 65% and 77%. For exergy efficiency: 51% and 66% condenser, 73% and 75% BFP, 79% and 82% boilers, 60% and 75% steam turbine.}
