In this study analyzed the safety factor against the danger of piping on leuwikeris Ciamis-Tasikmalaya dam by comparing the safety factor using manual calculation of the method and method of Harza with the help of GeoStudio Seep/W application in several conditions, that is height water level, normal water level, the surface of the water recedes rapidly and the water face of the dam is empty. From the results of manual calculation analysis, the highest safety level in STA 0+150 is 4,4538, for STA 0+200 is 7,5873, for STA 0+250 is 4,7011, for STA 0+300 is 5,8108. From the results of the analysis using the GeoStudio Seep/W application that has been done, it is found that the highest safety rate in height water level for STA 0+150 is 11,6837 for STA 0+200 is 10,7947, for STA 0+250 is 10,1597 for STA 0+300 is 10,1597.} }
