The purpose of this thesis is to determine the performance of heat exchangers with different oil cooler diameter at PT. PJB UP CIRATA, namely a heat exchanger with an old diameter of 9 mm and a heat exchanger with a new diameter of 13 mm. Data taken through data recap results and document data on July 9, 2020 and documents commissioning results 2014, data collection is done by means of observation and interviews with the parties concerned at PT. PJB UP CIRATA, then data processing is carried out by using the appropriate formula and what is needed. The performance of the heat exchanger or heat exchanger can be seen from the effectiveness at the time of operation, based on data collection and calculation of the oil cooler tube, the effectiveness is obtained when the diameter is 9 mm, the effectiveness value is 0.99 while when the diameter is 13 mm the effectiveness value is 0, 44, the greater the effectiveness value of the heat exchanger, the more optimal heat absorption will be. Therefore, changing the oil cooler tube from 9 mm to 13 mm is considered to reduce the performance of the heat exchanger and heat absorption will be less than optimal.} }
