		abstract={This is bachelor theses research material secondary superheater tubes obtained from a Steam Power Plant Tanjung Jati B Unit 1 Jepara. On the secondary superheater tube material has been found failure in the form of an outbreak of one of the tube with a shape like the mouth of a fish. The condition of the tube has ruptured experience thinning of the walls as well as there is a deposit which
is spread unevenly on the tube. To know the root cause and mechanism of the failure of the tubes, then conducted a study and research which include visual observation and analysis of several such testing like thickness testing,
metalografi testing in order to know microstructure, hardness testing , also chemical composition testing , and SEM-EDX to know the thickness and the chemical content of item deposit inside and outside of the secondary superheater tube.}
