The method of chemical soil stabilization by utilizing wood charcoal ash and pumice stone powder is expected to increase soil bearing strength. In this test, soil stabilization was used using wood charcoal ash with a mixed variation of 0%, 15%, 20%, and 25%, for pumice stone powder with a mixture variation of 2% and 4% of the original soil weight by looking at the effect on physical and mechanical properties. through the Unconfined Compression Test (UCT). The test results showed that the physical and mechanical properties of clay had better changes, namely reducing the water content, liquid limit, plasticity index, increased plastic limit and shrinkage limit. From the test results, it was found that the optimum mixture of soil was found in the ash content of wood charcoal by 25% and pumice powder by 4%. The optimum UCT results obtained were the free compressive strength (qu) value of 3.1900 kg/cm2 and the shear strength (Su) value of 1.5950 kg/cm2.} }
