The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of partial substitution of rice husk ash and LDPE powder on the characteristics of the resulting geopolymer mortar. The variations used in this research were 4%, 8%, 12%,16% and 20% of partial substitution of RHA and 7,6%, 15,2%, 22,8%, 30,4% and 38% of partial substitution of LDPE powder. The phases of the research is research studies, tools and materials preparation, material testing, mix design, mortar manufacturing, testing and test result analysis. The test result showed a geolymer mortar with 20% RHA and 38% LLDPE produced the highest compressive strength of 11,30 MPa and the lightest weight mortar of 218 grams, compared to normal geopolymer mortal wich produced a compressive strength of 4,30 MPa and weight of 281 grams. Meanwhile, the result of the intial setting time test showed that the more the addition of RHA in the mixture, the longer time required to reach the initial setting time.
