Disturbances in the electricity system cannot be canceled, generally often occurs in underground channels. In cable termination, there is often a disturbance that is a hissing sound. This makes the insulation cable to decrease, it will cause excessive leakage current, and can damage the insulation cable. Then we need a way to reduce the excess leakage current by doing termination improvements. The purpose of this study is to study the termination improvement steps and determine the value of the leakage current, then compare the value of the results of leakage current testing with the standard value of the leakage current. The value of the leakage current before repairing the termination of the 20 kV power cable in the T1 phase was 0.24 mA, after repairing the 20 kV termination of the power cable the value of the leakage current in the T1 phase was 0.01 mA. So, after repairing the 20 kV power cable termination the leakage current value increases by 0.23 mA.} }
