		abstract={PLTU Banten 3 Lontar uses  Air Pre Heater type rotary LAP (Ljungstrom Air Pre Heater) 10320/2200 as a heat exchanger utilizing heat from  flue gas to air combustion, to burn in the furnace. Heat loss is a disadvantage for PLTU. One of the causes of high heat loss from Air Pre Heater is the heat transfer factor and leakage in seal rotor of Air Pre Heater. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Air Pre Heater before and after overhaul to the efficiency of boiler unit 3 PLTU Banten 3 Lontar.From calculation In 2015 the decrease in temperature flue gas at the time before and after the overhaul of 6,66 ? can increase boiler efficiency by 0,47 %, while in 2016 At the time before and after the overhaul there is a decrease in temperature flue gas out Air Pre Heater of 7,31? can increase the efficiency of boiler by 0,39 %.}
