One of the disruptions in the protection system at Cawang Lama Substation is a short circuit disruption that causes more current. The disruption has occurred on the incoming side of the Power Transformer III 60 MVA 150/20k V and the outgoing side is on the Sanjaya Refiner. To overcome the disruption is required a qualified protection system that is sensitive, selective, fast, and reliable which can be obtained by the accuracy of the protection equipment settings. The protection equipment used is overcurrent rele (OCR) and ground phase disturbance (GFR) which governs CB for trip when detecting interference. Both protection equipment must be well coordinated between the incoming side and the outgoing side with proper adjustment. In this study, in addition to the adjustment was also done simulation using ETAP 16.0 application to find out if the calculation value at the time of adjustment can make the relay on the incoming side and outgoing side coordinate well with each other.
