abstract={In the electric power system, losses are divided into two types, namely technical losses and non-technical losses. Technical losses in the electrical distribution system, one of which occurs at the distribution transformer substation during planning, the distribution of transformer loads in the R, S, T phases are generally designed in a balanced manner. However, what happens is that the load distribution is not balanced, the difference in load is due to the increase and decrease in usage on the customer side, and the load needs of each customer increase every time. As a result of the load imbalance, a neutral current arises. The greater the neutral current, the greater the shrinkage in the neutral conductor, so that it can cause a decrease in the quality of the distribution transformer. To reduce it, load balancing is carried out based on data during peak loads during the day and night. After balancing the decreasing shrinkage value, during the previous afternoon peak load, 1.090 kW became 0.146 kW, while at night, previously
0.572 kW became 0.047 kW. The percentage value of the imbalance during the day before and after balancing is 32.60% to 5.74%, and at night from 14.99% to 3.39%.}
