The 110 Volt Dirrect Current (DC) battery in the substation serves as a voltage source for protection equipment, telecommunication systems, drive motors on PMT (breaker and power switches), PMS (separator switches) and emergency lights. The battery in the substation must still work reliably even in a state without chargers and blackouts. By ensuring the battery is in reliability, maintenance is carried out 2 years by conducting battery testing using the battery capacity test method and testing needs to be done so that it can know the discharged capacity and charger capacity. Battery discharge is carried out for 5 hours, and the minimum end voltage of each battery cell is 1 volt. However, there is a battery cell that is less than 1 volt, namely battery cell 72, it is necessary to do maintenance on the battery. The efficiency of the battery will decrease if used continuously. If the battery efficiency decreases continuously and maintenance is not performed immediately, it will cause disruption of the substation performance system. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct tests in order to determine the battery efficiency in the 150 KV substation. Battery capacity is rated good if the battery efficiency is more than 80% based on SKDIR 2014 PT. PLN.} }
