During the operation of the transformer, the transformer oil is subjected to electrical and thermal loads which can cause dissolved hydrocarbon gases in the oil which have the potential to cause the oil to fail as a good insulating function. Therefore, special monitoring of these gases is required. One way to analyze dissolved gas in oil is to use the Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) method. DGA will extract the gas to find out and then indicate the disturbance based on the interpretation results using Keygas, Roger's Ratio and Duval's Triangle methods. This method is also able to predict long-term damage, so that damage to the transformer can be prevented. Basically, this type of failure can be prevented if you know the internal conditions that occur in the transformer, one of which is by knowing what types of gas are flammable and can directly damage the components in the transformer. Where the amount of gas can be calculated and what percentage of gas is contained in it} }
