The research method used in this research is, Data Collection Method by means of observation, interviews, and literature study. At PLTSa Jatibarang Semarang there was damage to the Siemens SGE 56 SL engine, which was a leak in the combustion chamber, due to the packing of the gasket perpack that was not good / defective. This caused the Siemens SGE 56 SL Engine to experience problems in the first starter and now the engine is off. So the operation at the PLTSa Jatibarang Semarang has stopped. The results of the study concluded that the cause of damage to the Siemens SGE 56 SL Engine at the Jatibarang PLTSa Semarang was the minus or damaged packing perpack component (gasket) and caused the Seiemens SGE 56 SL Engine to have to disassemble the engine. Dismantling the Siemens SGE 56 SL Engine cannot be done by the operator or the Maintenance team of the PLTSa. The demolition has not been carried out because the PLTSa has not yet brought in its technicians.} }
