		abstract={reverse power accurs the protection system must be close the sistem when the reverse current come from system to the generator, but in this case the generator unit 2 pltd Ampenan still happen motoring or reverse power, this case can help to solve and inform the cause of problem of reverse power and high water temperature jacket water especially at the diesel power plant (PLTD). One method use in this study is a diagram fishbone, fishbone diagram can be describe and explain the problem of using images of fish bone with their head as the subject and the bone as possibility problem and the results of the indentification are illustrated using RCPS (Root Cause Problem Solving) to provide the problem solving. The results of the analysis obtained, namely the occurrence of reverse power caused by protection failures in the circuit breaker generator and high watertemperature jacket water caused by
