One of the critical problems is the environment hygiene. Many people have disposed of their garbage collectively in one big trash can. This can cause problems if the cleaner does not take the trash out regularly so there will be accumulated garbage which can affect health, source of nasty odour, and unpleasant view.To minimize this incident, technology is needed that can tell when the trash can is full remotely. This device uses Arduino Uno as a data processor and GSM SIM800L as a notifier to the cleaners, the way this tool works is when the sensor, HW-201 detects people who want to dispose of garbage the MG996 servo motor will move 1800, so that the lid of the trash can opens. This condition is repeated until it detects trash >= 10cm and triggers the solenoid lock to lock, then GSM SIM800L V1 sends an SMS message to the cellphone when the trash is full, to unlock the solenoid by replying to a message from GSM SIM800L. The results of this study are the solenoid lock can lock automatically when the trash is full and the distance from the GSM SIM800L in sending messages is 419 meters or even more} }
