This study uses the high voltage test method which is the process of testing components of the electric power system used at high voltages and is only carried out for new conditions or repairs to normal insulation pressure that must be tested. The purpose of high voltage testing is to find out if there is a leakage current or repair of normal insulation pressure that must be tested and to see the reliability of high voltage equipment. The results of the calculation of the value of the charging current manually is 29.7 A, and the value of the charging current is measured by 27 A. A comparison of the calculation of the value of the charging current is obtained with a percentage of 0.09%. Based on the resistance testing of the XLPE insulated high-voltage cable line, it shows that the HV Test carried out can be said to be successful (passed).
