		abstract={TPA Rawa Kucing is the dump main for the people of Tangerang city. One of the most significant problems arising from the TPA Rawa Kucing is environmental pollution caused by increasing waste production as one of the impacts of population growth without good waste treatment. On the other hand, the development of times offers technology that has the potential to overcome the problems of electricity and waste problems, namely the use of waste as a Waste Power Plant (PLTSa) by utilizing methane gas contained in landfills. The purpose of this study is to examine the potential of methane gas and the potential of electrical energy that can be generated from landfill at the TPARawa Kucing. Methods of data collection were carried out namely literature studies, observations, and interviews. Based on the results of data analysis, the Rawa Kucing Tangerang landfill in 2021-2031 produced an average organic waste of 650.006 tons and had an average production of methane gas of 78.720.000 m3 and an estimate of 40 MW of electricity that could be generated up to 2031.}
