The Yogyakarta area is geographically located below the Equtor line, so that the most optimal installation of the PV module faces north with a slope angle of 5 degrees and has an irradiation of 4.8 kWh/m2. So it has the potential to develop the use of solar energy to be developed as an alternative energy . This study discusses the Planning of a Hybrid Solar Power Plant with a capacity of 2 kWp. The Yogyakarta area is a tropical area where the weather is more sunny than cloudy, so the most optimal in energy production is the monochristalline type PV module. Because the PV module that has been provided by the boarding house owner is a polychristalline type with a capacity of 250 Wp per module, this type of PV module will be installed. With a capacity of 2 kWp, the number of PV modules to be installed is 8 pcs. The installation of this 2 kWp PLTS Hybrid is estimated to require an investment budget of Rp. 69,111,000 assuming per WP = $2.38 and potential monthly electricity cost savings of IDR 233.625 per month or 30% per month} }
