So that it can analyze how the differential relay protection mechanism works as the main safety seen in the simulation. The sample of this research is the maintenance technician of ULTG Bekasi protection, data collection is carried out by direct testing in the control room and protection room of the Tambun Substation. The results of calculations based on theory and formulas resulted in a differential relay setting current value of 0.09 A, with a slope value of1 42.34% and a slope value of2 84.69%. So that the calculation of the differential current is the difference between the secondary current CT1 and CT2, which is 0.1 A and the holding current is 0.818 A. Then, a simulation of the protection coordination and comparison of the settings is carried out between the calculation settings and the substation settings at Etap 16.0. The total time required for protection coordination starting from the relay sensing an internal disturbance to the relay command to the CB to trip, the calculation setting is 100 ms and 230 ms for the substation setup.} }
